Gaza Martyrs' Burial Procession
He passed away and 105 Palestinian martyrs were retrieved from beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings in the Yarmouk area of Gaza City, which was targeted during the Israeli offensive that began in October 2023. Local and international rescue teams participated in recovering the bodies, which were buried in the Sheikh Rihan Cemetery, amid challenges such as a lack of necessary equipment due to the occupation’s restrictions on their entry into the sector. More than 8,000 bodies remain trapped beneath the rubble across Gaza, and rescue crews continue their efforts despite the obstacles.
