WhatsApp trials device access controls

WhatsApp has launched a new feature that allows users to prevent devices linked to their account from accessing a specific conversation to enhance privacy. The feature is called "Restricted Chat" and enables users to limit other devices' ability to read the chat content, with restrictions such as preventing media saving and disabling AI features. It is currently available in the beta version within individual chats. This feature aims to give users greater control over access permissions to their conversations while maintaining end-to-end encryption of messages.
