Hajen Umm Al-Zibar wins fifth Saudi Federation Cup
The Qatar-based team Hajjun Um Al-Zubar won five gold cups at the sixth edition of the Saudi Camel Racing Cup 2026, held at the Taif racetrack in Saudi Arabia, with the participation of a distinguished group of camel owners from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. They achieved a complete sweep of the Open Zomol Cup, after the champion of Hajjun Um Al-Zubar, "Tawash," secured first place in the main race with a time of 9:15.94 minutes, surpassing "Ghazwan" and "Mushail." These results represent a culmination of the efforts of the Qatari camels in various categories, having previously won cups in the Lahaya age competitions, the Jadh'a Cup, and the Thaniya Cup, before concluding their participation with the Zomol Cup. This brought their total to five gold cups, confirming their strong presence at the event.
