Shanghai Tennis: Djokovic Eliminated
Serbian Novak Djokovic, ranked eighth in the world, bid farewell to the Shanghai Tennis Tournament in the second round after losing to Polish Hubert Hurkacz in straight sets. Conversely, German Alexander Zverev, the second seed, and American Ben Shelton, the fourth seed, advanced to the third round after defeating their respective opponents. This early exit comes at a time when Djokovic is seeking to secure a spot in the season-ending ATP Finals, scheduled for next November.
