Media City Qatar Announces New Creative Projects
Qatar Media City announced the completion of production for two drama series, "Lama Shuft" and "Kuwayes," after they were in the development stage. This reflects a shift in supported projects from the creation phase to full implementation. The series "Lama Shuft" features actors Imad Al-Siyah and Muhammad Al-Ahmad, while Dima Kandalaft leads the cast of "Kuwayes." This achievement is part of over 30 projects supported by the city, including films, programs, series, and video games, highlighting Qatar's efforts to build a strong creative platform. There is also recognition of local content and international collaboration, such as the participation of three films in the 2026 Doha Film Festival and production programs for global networks like CNN and You Donnies. Furthermore, efforts are focused on developing local talent through training courses, aiming to empower content creators and reinforce Qatar's position as a regional and international hub for media and creativity.
