Men's Volleyball League to start October 21
The Qatar Volleyball Federation has announced the launch of the men's league for the 2026-2027 season, set to begin on October 21, featuring 10 clubs according to a new format based on a "playoff" stage to enhance competitiveness. The new system includes an initial round-robin stage with a single league format, after which the top 8 teams qualify for the playoff phase, which consists of semi-finals and finals, each played as best-of-three matches. In addition, there are competitions to determine positions from fifth to tenth place. The aim of this system is to raise the level of competitiveness and ensure greater rivalry among teams, along with organizing international and regional events throughout the season.
