Men's Volleyball League Launches October 21
The Qatar Volleyball Federation has announced the launch of the men's league for the 2026-2027 season, starting on October 21. The league will feature a new "Playoff" system to enhance competitiveness. Ten clubs will participate in the league, which includes an initial round-robin stage where teams face each other once. The top eight teams will then compete in a best-of-three playoff to determine the qualification for the semifinals, along with matches to determine the lower positions from fifth place and below. The new system aims to raise the level of competition and foster greater intent among the teams. Additionally, the season will be accompanied by international and regional activities, including coach training sessions and participation in global and Gulf championships.
