Ukraine and Russia report drone incidents
Ukraine and Russia both announced the downing of drones belonging to the other side in an ongoing escalation since February 2022. Ukraine claimed to have shot down 536 of 580 Russian drones and two missiles, while Russia reported intercepting 166 Ukrainian drones over 14 Russian regions during the past night. The two sides continue to exchange accusations over the air strikes, with fighting ongoing despite the lack of verification of the information from independent sources.
