The Doha team concluded its participation in the 2026 Macau World Tour for 3×3 basketball, which was held in Macau, China, with a draw against Bordeaux France, 18-16, in the second round of Group Two. This came after their loss to Taipei Wan Bao with a score of 13-19 in the first round. Despite their victory over Bordeaux, Doha was unable to qualify for the main stage after finishing second in the group, behind Taipei, which topped the group with 4 points. The participation of the Qatari team is part of efforts to develop Qatari basketball in the 3×3 discipline, as they compete in a series of global rounds featuring 16 teams, with the best teams qualifying for the final tournament, where prizes reach up to $185,000.
