US police adopt AI to locate suspects via photos
The new artificial intelligence technology provided by the "Reven" application enables precise identification of people's locations through a single image, whether it's inside a property, a hotel room, or other settings. The app relies on analyzing the components of the image, such as colors, lighting, and decor, and compares them with an extensive library of real estate and rental property images. It leverages AI capabilities to detect even the smallest details that are invisible to the naked eye. Rights to use the technology have been purchased by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Miami-Dade Police Department. The app aims to enhance authorities' ability to quickly and accurately determine locations using images available online.
