Qatar’s Minister of Culture and Chairman of the National Day Celebrations Organizing Committee, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, unveiled the slogan for Qatar National Day 2026: “You Are the Nation’s Greatest Asset.” The slogan draws its wording from a speech by the Father Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and affirms the role of Qataris in building the nation and sustaining its progress through a sense of belonging, service and solidarity. This year’s celebration carries special significance, as it is the first National Day celebration since the passing of the Father Amir, offering an opportunity to reflect on his legacy and his vision of placing people at the heart of development.
