National Day Slogan Story
The slogan for Qatar National Day 2026 is “You Are the Nation’s Pride.” It is drawn from a speech by the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, on 25 June 2013, when he handed over power to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The slogan underscores the role of Qatar’s people in building the nation and safeguarding its future, evoking the values of belonging, generosity and hard work highlighted in the speech. This year carries special significance as it marks the first National Day celebration since the passing of the Father Emir, honouring his legacy and vision, which placed the Qatari people at the heart of development.
