Al Sadd on missed chances
Al-Sadd coach Razvan Lucescu said his team missed chances to score against Saudi side Al-Ahli in their goalless draw at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Elite. He said Al-Sadd created chances in the first half but made mistakes after the break and failed to finish their attacks. Al-Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham felt the result was unsatisfactory, despite being pleased with the team’s performance. The draw took Al-Sadd to two points, leaving them 15th, while Al-Ahli moved to eight points and provisionally took fourth place.
