Cultural Years at Mihad
The Years of Culture initiative will open a series of art and creative exhibitions at Mihad Gallery in Doha Design District on Thursday, November 5. The exhibitions celebrate the 2026 Qatar–Canada–Mexico Year of Culture and pave the way for a partnership with Egypt and Greece in 2027. The program includes *Rooted—Elsewhere*, which explores connections between nature, memory, and identity; *Beyond the Letters*, featuring Arabic and Persian calligraphy; and *Traces of Desert Light*, by artist Joseph Greig. It will also showcase ceramic works and a Mexican culinary experience, running from November 5 to 15. The program aims to foster cultural exchange and introduce audiences to the work of artists and designers from Qatar and its partner countries through art, design, and food.
