Barshim inspires students
Tariq bin Ziad School, part of Qatar Foundation, hosted Qatari Olympic champion Mutaz Barshim for an interactive session with middle school students. He spoke about his career and achievements and answered their questions. He also shared lessons on perseverance, discipline and teamwork—values explored in the children’s book *A Victory More Precious Than Gold*, inspired by Barshim’s sharing of the gold medal in the high jump at the Tokyo Olympics.
