Doha opens Mihad Gallery
Qatar Museums has opened Mihad Gallery in Doha Design District, creating a platform for artists and designers from Qatar, the region and around the world. The gallery connects audiences and collectors with art and design through exhibitions, events, conversations and workshops. It launched with three exhibitions: *Rooted Elsewhere*, exploring nature, memory and belonging; *Beyond Letters*, featuring Arabic and Persian calligraphy; and *Traces of Desert Light*, exploring light, materials, craft and cultural memory. The project aims to make art and design part of everyday life, with an evolving programme that will also include hosting creative chefs.
