Following their first policy dialogue, Qatar and Greece announced plans to launch an annual strategic dialogue to deepen bilateral cooperation and advance shared priorities. The two sides said the initiative builds on the momentum generated by the Emir of Qatar’s visit to Athens in April 2026 and reflects their commitment to promoting peace and stability, upholding international law, and ensuring freedom of navigation. The dialogue aims to turn shared priorities into practical cooperation in trade, investment, defence, security, technology, health, culture, sports and education.
