Qatari artist Yousef Ahmad is presenting his project, *Oshar: The Sea in the Memory of Qatari Art*, at the third edition of the Qatar Boat Show 2026, held at Old Doha Port. Inspired by Qatar’s maritime heritage and its connection to national identity, the exhibition features eight paintings that express his theory of “the color of Qatar’s sea”—its distinctive turquoise hue—and draw on old ports, diving and travel tools, and materials used in traditional boatbuilding.
