Tareq Zainal, director of the Qatar 2026 Padel World Cup, said Doha had successfully hosted the tournament for the third time, noting that the International Federation and participating teams had praised its organizational and technical standards. He said that awarding the 2026 and 2028 editions to Qatar reflected confidence in the country’s capabilities and sports infrastructure. The Qatari team put in a strong performance despite not reaching the quarter-finals, winning one match each against Chile and Germany. The semi-finals will be played at the Khalifa International Complex, with the tournament concluding with the final on Saturday.
