Japan launches H3 rocket with six satellites
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) successfully launched the H3 rocket in its sixth mission from Tanegashima Space Center, placing six small satellites precisely into their orbits at an altitude of 580 kilometers. The upgraded version of the rocket, which relies on three liquid propulsion engines without side boosters, was used to reduce launch costs by up to half. This achievement marks a strategic turning point for Japan's space program, with plans to increase the number of launches to 6-8 annually for various space exploration missions.
