Financial Regulatory Authority reports 9.35 billion Egyptian pounds in gold and silver fund assets as of June

The General Authority for Financial Supervision issued a report on the performance of precious metals investment funds up to the end of June 2026. These funds' assets increased to 9.35 billion EGP, with the investor base growing to approximately 329,000 clients, a 14% rise over three months, most of whom are young people aged between 20 and 40 years. Investment products have also expanded with the launch of new funds in gold and silver, where the total assets of the two silver funds reached 146.1 million EGP, serving 22,300 clients. The report aims to boost awareness and leverage technology to ensure market sustainability and diversify investment options.
