Gulf Cooperation Council Condemns Iranian Attack on Emirati Oil Tankers

The Gulf Cooperation Council strongly condemned the Iranian aggressive attack on the oil tankers "Mombasa" and "Bahia" affiliated with the United Arab Emirates, which resulted in the death of one crew member and injuries to others. The Council affirmed that this assault constitutes a violation of the principles of international law and UN Security Council Resolution 2817. It reiterated its solidarity with the UAE and called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to halt such attacks and ensure the freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
