The General Union of Writers and Authors in Iraq held a commemorative session for poet Hadi Al-Husseini, during which his life, poetic journey, and struggle were highlighted. Al-Husseini explained that Iraqi writers, especially during their stay in Amman, played an important role in the cultural movement, expressing pride in his achievements, including winning an international award and receiving support from prominent writers like Abdul-Wahab Al-Bayyati. He also discussed the beginning of his poetic path and documented his experiences in his book "Life in the Roman Garrison," which sheds light on the conditions of intellectuals in Amman during the siege. The session concluded with honoring him with a certificate of appreciation from the union's president.
