The article addresses the accusations made by the Lebanese Army against Israel, claiming that it continues to violate understandings and international law through operations of destruction, demolishing homes, bombing, and targeting areas in southern Lebanon. These actions obstruct the deployment of Lebanese forces and hinder residents from returning to their villages. The army confirmed that Israeli forces seized debris, demolished water projects, burned agricultural land, and olive trees. The south is experiencing an escalation in military activity and a disruption to efforts to stabilize the region. For his part, Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji stated that the country seeks to restore its authority over all Lebanese territory, with a focus on disarming Hezbollah. He considered that the framework agreement with Israel sets the stage for future negotiations, while rejecting any division between Hezbollah's military and political wings. He believes that most people in Lebanon want the state to regain a monopoly on arms, despite some Shia hesitating to declare this out of fear of pressure.
