President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has approved the law on reorganization of the Future Egypt for Sustainable Development Authority after its approval by the House of Representatives. The law stipulates that the lands designated as owned or under the jurisdiction of the Authority as a sustainable development zone must be identified within three months of the law's issuance. This includes lands transferred to its jurisdiction prior to the law's promulgation. The law aims to regulate efforts for sustainable development in Egypt and to promote land use to achieve economic and sustainable development goals.
