Royal Commission finishes Northeast Riyadh master plan
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has announced the completion of the preliminary master plan for the northeast region of Riyadh, covering an area of approximately 456 square kilometers. This area is located near King Khalid Airport, Wadi Sulay, and the roads connecting Dammam and Al-Janadriyah. The plan aims to organize land use in a way that accommodates the city’s future expansion, with a focus on designing integrated communities that combine residential areas with services. It also ensures a balanced distribution among residential, economic, entertainment, and natural zones. This plan represents an initial step in long-term planning efforts to expand Riyadh, aiming to improve quality of life, increase green spaces, and preserve natural valleys. Detailed planning will follow later, carried out by the relevant authorities.
