Federation updates U21 foreign player rules
The Saudi Pro League Association has approved new regulations for registering foreign players in the Roshn League. Clubs are now allowed to register 10 foreign players on a squad of 25 players, with a special regulation for foreign players under the age of 21. The regulations clarify that a foreign player registered in a team’s under-21 squad and participating in the "Joy" Elite League will not be eligible to play with the first team in the Roshn League. The aim is to organize how clubs benefit from foreign players across different age categories, with the association expected to clarify the mechanisms in the coming days before the start of the season.
