China heads diplomatic talks

China is working on diplomatic efforts to contain the escalation between the United States and Iran, in coordination with Pakistan, with the aim of reopening channels of dialogue between the two sides and launching indirect negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program, sanctions, and regional security. The initiative includes exploring confidence-building measures and expanding dialogue to include Gulf countries, while continuing to address military escalation and the growing tensions in the region. These moves come amid ongoing exchanges of messages and Iran's reaffirmation of diplomatic solutions and rejection of American dominance over the Strait of Hormuz.
