Bushehr Airport Temporarily Closed
The Iranian government announced that Bushehr Airport in the south of the country is out of service due to damages sustained during the recent war, especially after a modern aircraft was hit by missile shelling, leaving only part of its tail intact. Maritime facilities were also affected, as the control and navigation tower at Chabahar Port collapsed after being targeted with 11 missiles. This disruption hampers maritime guidance operations and logistical services at the strategic port overlooking the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Oman, which could impact the movement of commercial ships in the region.
