Thirteen-year-old Qousi Al-Zahrani is the youngest farmer participating in the Medina Dates Festival, showcasing products from his family's farm in Yanbu Al Nakhil, such as Al-Barni dates, Ajwa dates, and Abu Zohair lemons. His participation reflects the new generation's connection to agricultural heritage, as he has learned the secrets of date palm care and sales techniques from his uncle. His goal is to revive the legacy of the date palm and instill farming values among young generations. Qousi's experience is an important step in introducing visitors to local farm products and supporting their presence in the market, highlighting families' efforts to pass on agricultural knowledge and to reinforce the date palm's status as a national heritage within the framework of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
