Islamic Affairs wraps up Mali Quran Contest
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia concluded the Quran Competition in the Republic of Mali, which was organized in cooperation with the Supreme Islamic Council, from 8 to 11 Safar 1448 AH (22 to 25 July 2026). The event saw the participation of 300 male and female contestants from various regions of Mali. The competition included four categories: memorizing the entire Quran, memorizing five and ten Juz', and memorizing two Juz'. High levels of mastery and recitation were displayed.
