GCC Condemns Iran-Backed Attacks on Saudi
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) strongly condemned the terrorist attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Iran-backed militias in Iraq. The Secretary-General of the Council affirmed that these assaults represent a serious escalation, constituting a violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and threatening regional security and stability. He pointed out that the member states stand with Saudi Arabia and support all its measures to protect its security and sovereignty, warning that the recurrence of such attacks threatens regional peace and undermines the international community's efforts to de-escalate tensions.
