Trial explores aging cell rejuvenation
Life Biosciences has developed an experimental treatment called ER-100 aimed at reversing aging at the cellular level. This is the first of its kind to be injected into a patient in its experimental form. The treatment was injected into the eye of a patient suffering from glaucoma, as part of a clinical trial monitored over six months to assess its safety and effectiveness. The therapy is based on reprogramming techniques inspired by Nobel laureate Shinya Yamanaka's research, and aims to rejuvenate aged cells while maintaining their functions. This marks a groundbreaking step in the field of aging treatment.
