Honoring Yasser Madhkli at the Children's Poetry Theatre Festival in Jeddah is a recognition of his contributions to the development of Saudi children's theater. His experience has helped build a strong connection between theater and children, with a focus on local puppet characters and employing the Arabic language in an interactive way. This approach has enhanced children's engagement with the characters and contributed to their self-confidence and expressive abilities. Additionally, he has worked to transform children's theater from mere entertainment into a means of character building and community development, through training, documentation, and producing specialized, pioneering works in the field of puppet and children's theater.
