Dr. Yahya Al-Sharif, an academic and specialist in sports performance physiology, confirmed that his candidacy for the presidency of the Saudi Football Federation was not accepted because he failed to obtain the necessary endorsements from three clubs, which prevented him from presenting his vision and developmental programs to the general assembly. He pointed out that the culture of the electoral process still needs improvement to ensure fairness and transparency. He emphasized that serving Saudi football remains a continuous national responsibility despite his unsuccessful run in the elections, and that he will continue to work from any possible position to support the development of the sport.
