Rosetta mission marks space milestone

Marking 12 years since the successful landing of the Rosetta probe in 2014 on the orbit of Comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko (67P), and the deployment of the Philae lander, which achieved the first-ever landing on a comet's surface. The mission contributed significantly to expanding our understanding of comet compositions and the history of the solar system, as well as studying the origins of water and organic compounds that may have contributed to the emergence of life on Earth. These achievements are considered among the most prominent milestones in space exploration in the 21st century.
