Palestinian Authority Condemns Qalandiya Clash
The Palestinian presidency condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression against Qalandia Camp north of Jerusalem, which includes raids, arrests, home demolitions, property destruction, and preventing ambulance crews from performing their duties, all amidst a blockade that constitutes a violation of international law. It emphasized that this escalation is part of an Israeli plan aimed at erasing the Palestinian refugee issue and undermining their rights. This comes concurrently with the continued war of destruction and starvation against the Gaza Strip, with the goal of imposing facts on the ground, obstructing peace and stability. The presidency called on the international community to act swiftly to halt the aggression, lift the siege on Gaza, and implement international resolutions, foremost among them United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, to end the occupation and establish a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
