Four regions hit 48°C in Saudi Arabia

Four regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—Al-Ahsa, Dammam, Mecca, and Yanbu—recorded the highest temperatures of 48°C today, amid a severe heatwave affecting the eastern and western areas. Authorities advise avoiding direct exposure to the sun during peak hours, drinking plenty of water, and being cautious not to leave children and the elderly inside closed vehicles to prevent health risks such as heat exhaustion and heatstroke.
