The article includes the advice of the Prophet and preacher of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, His Eminence Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Baiejan, regarding the concept of happiness and its causes. He emphasized that true happiness comes from God's piety, faith, and righteous deeds. He pointed out that one of the most significant obstacles to happiness is wasting time, neglecting obligations, and being preoccupied with entertainments and pleasures, which lead to hardness of the heart and distance from satisfaction and tranquility. To achieve happiness, the Sheikh recommended maintaining the obligations, remembering Allah, believing in divine predestination, and avoiding heart diseases such as envy and hatred, along with the importance of good opinion of Allah. In conclusion, he affirmed that adherence to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger is the way to attain happiness in this world and the Hereafter.
