The Friday sermon at the Grand Mosque focused on the importance of brotherhood in Allah as a solid faith. Sheikh Faisal bin Jameel Ghazaawi emphasized that brotherhood and solidarity among Muslims are a religious duty, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) indicated in his saying that believers are like a single body; if one part suffers, the rest of the body reacts with fever and sleeplessness. He explained that unity strengthens the community and prevents calamities, calling for cooperation in doing good and calling to Allah, especially in fields such as teaching goodness, helping those in need, and alleviating hardships. He concluded by saying that brotherhood in Allah transcends blood ties and language, forming the foundation of unity and strength within the Muslim community.
