The Authority for Spending Efficiency and Government Projects announced the signing of an agreement with "Riyadh Airlines" to activate its services within the unified government passenger framework, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the National Center for Government Resource Systems. The aim of the agreement is to expand government travel options through the "Absher" platform and to improve the flexibility and efficiency of travel services by automating booking procedures and issuing tickets electronically. The inclusion of "Riyadh Airlines," the new national carrier, contributes to increasing seat capacity and providing a broader network of destinations, while also enhancing competition among carriers to better serve public sector employees and beneficiaries of government travel services. Additionally, the Authority is focusing on streamlining the unified procurement procedures to achieve the best value for public funds, a step that was preceded by its agreement with "flynas" for this purpose.
