The Ministry of Sports announced the start of transferring 25% of the ownership of non-profit organizations affiliated with Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal, and Al-Nassr clubs to the Public Investment Fund. This is part of a plan to transform the ownership models of sports clubs, enhance their investment capabilities, and improve governance. This move is part of the second phase of the privatization and investment project in the Saudi sports sector, aimed at developing clubs, increasing their attractiveness, and enabling sustainable long-term growth, while the current boards of directors of these organizations will be dissolved.
