The Saudi Ministry of Sports announced the beginning of transferring 25% of the ownership of nonprofit organizations that represent a part of the ownership of four clubs (Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal, and Al-Nassr) to the Public Investment Fund, and the dissolution of their boards of directors. This step is part of the second phase of transferring club ownerships to enhance their investment attractiveness and to achieve more sustainable and long-term institutional governance, in line with the objectives of the investment and privatization project in the sports sector.
