Currency and Personal Growth
The article discusses the concept of self-development, explaining how the term has become somewhat vague, filled with ideas and concepts that go beyond basic responsibilities and duties. This shift has led to weakened relationships and a decline in human values such as nobility, loyalty, and dignity. It points out that an excessive focus on self-development has disturbed genuine values and contributed to the dissolution of social bonds, where relationships have shifted from being based on friendliness and forgiveness to merely exchanging words, glances, and quick reactions, often neglecting higher principles. The article concludes by warning that excessive emphasis on self-development has cast a shadow over authentic human values and calls for rebalancing personal growth with the preservation of social and human values.
