Al-Farraj Discusses Romano's Tweet Deletion on Pondarenko Deal

Sports journalist Walid Al-Fgaar revealed that the transfer deal of Ukrainian player Artym Bondarenko to Al-Ahli club involved conflicting information regarding the financial value. While journalist Fabrizio Romano reported a deal worth 18 million euros plus 1 million euros in bonuses, the club issued a warning at the time to force the deletion of his tweet, asserting that the actual contract value was only six million euros for a three-season period, at a rate of two million euros per year. The player has arrived in Jeddah to complete medical tests and signing procedures, making him the latest addition to Al-Ahli's midfield under coach Marinko Busic.
