Zataka urges VAT declarations for July

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has urged VAT-registered businesses in the Kingdom, with annual sales exceeding 40 million SAR, to file their tax returns for July 2026 before the deadline on August 31, 2026. The authority emphasized the importance of promptly submitting returns and paying due amounts through the "ZATCA" app to avoid penalties ranging from 5% to 25% of the payable tax. Additionally, the authority has provided various communication channels for inquiries and support via the contact center and digital platforms to ensure compliance and assist businesses in the filing process.
