Forcibly Seizing a Woman's Funds
It is both legally and ethically prohibited for a husband to take his wife's money by force, whether materially or psychologically, such as through threats of divorce. Such actions must be carried out with her free consent. Sharia emphasizes the wife's right to freely manage her own wealth, including her salaries, possessions, and inheritance. The husband has no right to seize her property or prevent her from working or spending. Additionally, pressuring the wife to give him her money or threatening her to do so is strictly forbidden. Any amounts taken without her consent should be returned, and the husband is obliged to provide for her financially in accordance with Sharia and the law.
