Condemnation of E1 Settlement Plan
The article focused on condemning the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt for the settlement plan "E1" that Israel seeks to implement east of Jerusalem. It also addressed the accompanying settler expansion and operations aimed at undermining the territorial connectivity between the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The ministers affirmed that these policies constitute violations of international law and threaten the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders. They also highlighted that such actions hinder international peace efforts and called for a halt to all settlement activities, international accountability for those responsible for the illegal expansion, and emphasized that a two-state solution remains the only pathway to achieving just and lasting peace.
