Plants in King Salman Nature Reserve
The article discusses the plant diversity within King Salman bin Abdulaziz Reserve, with a special focus on two species: Arfaj and Qaysoum, both of which contribute to enhancing the reserve's natural wealth. It explains that Arfaj is a perennial shrub reaching up to 120 cm, characterized by bluish-green stems and delicate yellow flowers, while Qaysoum is a fragrant, perennial plant that spreads across valleys and ravines, growing up to about 60 cm tall, with yellow flowers and oval-shaped leaves. The Reserve Development Authority continues its efforts to protect this botanical diversity and support environmental sustainability, in line with Saudi Arabia's Green Initiative and natural resource conservation efforts.
