Bazhkiyan cites Iran's challenges
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi acknowledged that Iranian society is facing "several difficulties," especially due to economic challenges, amid escalating American pressures involving new measures, including the imposition of sanctions aimed at causing the Iranian regime to collapse. These remarks come at a time when the country is experiencing protests against the worsening economic conditions, which have resulted in over 3,000 deaths, and Iran is facing a comprehensive war across economic, security, and military levels. Raisi also emphasized the government's efforts to overcome inflation and unemployment and to ensure the dignity of the people, while political understandings continue to be pursued to promote the national interest. Regarding regional relations, the Pakistani Army Chief is visiting Tehran today to discuss cooperation and reaffirm support for peace and security in the region.
